Patient 1 - Cheek Augmentation
This is a woman in her early fifties who was looking to augment her cheeks. In her before picture, her cheeks are less narrow than her jawline, which gives a more aged appearance. Radiesse was injected along the cheeks to recreate and augment the cheekbones so now that the cheekbones are slightly wider than the jawline. This gives a more heart-shaped face, which is more feminine and more youthful. Results shown are one month after the procedure. From the three-quarters’ view, you can see a nicely augmented cheek and a more youthful appearance. There is even a slight lift to the face after this procedure.
Patient 2 - Cheek Augmentation
This is a young woman who wanted both cheek augmentation and undereye filler. She had slight bags under her eyes as well as a cheek that was flat. She was tired of using concealer makeup to hide this. I used a combination of Radiesse in the cheeks and dilute Juvéderm Voluma under the eyes to create this result. The benefit of using both undereye filler as well as cheek filler is that it is difficult to tell where the lower eyelid ends and the cheek begins. This makes for a nice, youthful result. Results shown are six weeks later.
Patient 3 - Cheek Augmentation
This is a young woman in her twenties who did not like her undereye hollows and her more flat and narrow cheeks. She wanted to look more feminine and have more balance to her face. A combination of Radiesse for the cheek augmentation as well as diluted Juvéderm Voluma under the eyes was used to create this result. A microcannula technique was used to reduce chances of bruising and minimize risks to the patient. The results shown are six months after the procedure. Results can typically last anywhere from one to two years.
Patient 4 - Cheek Augmentation
This young man came in wanting a cheek augmentation to look more masculine and angular. He also had some undereye filler done elsewhere, which was dissolved later on. Two syringes of Radiesse were used to create this result. Results shown are six weeks later. For a man, the volume for cheek augmentation should be placed just underneath the outer corner of the eye. This gives a more masculine and angular look. Results typically last one year.
