Forehead wrinkles and an increasing heaviness of the eyebrows are some of the unwelcome signs of aging that begin appearing on our faces in our late 30s and early 40s. These developments can make you appear tired, angry or sad to the outside world when this is not how you actually feel.
A well-executed brow lift can help patients in Beverly Hills rejuvenate their forehead, brows and eyes so that they look younger and more refreshed without appearing as if they have had any surgery.
What Are The Cosmetic Benefits Of A Brow Lift Versus Other Forehead Treatments?
Brow lift surgery offers long-lasting cosmetic benefits that include reduced fine lines and wrinkles, a rejuvenated, youthful appearance, and a more relaxed expression. Brow lift surgery can also remove excess skin contributing to forehead wrinkles and elevate the brow line to help patients look more refreshed.
Brow lift surgery in Beverly Hills does far more than just smooth out forehead wrinkles and offers additional cosmetic benefits of improving the appearance of crow’s feet wrinkles, reducing the appearance of sagging upper eyelids, and restoring an arch and youthful shape to the eyebrows. This cosmetic procedure can be personalized for each individual patient to ensure results are natural and aesthetically pleasing.
Is A Brow Lift Right For You?
Brow lift surgery is not a one-size-fits-all procedure—meaning anyone with forehead wrinkles, and heavy, drooping eyebrows or upper eyelids may be ideal candidates for this cosmetic procedure regardless of age. Ideal candidates for brow lift surgery are those who are in good physical health, don’t smoke, and who have a positive outlook and realistic goals about their physical appearance. People of any age who want to reduce fine lines and wrinkles on their foreheads and around their eyes can schedule a consultation to learn if they are ideal candidates for brow lift surgery.
Of course, for a variety of reasons, not every Beverly Hills patient is a candidate for surgery. In such cases, Dr. Nima has mastered cutting-edge alternatives. By way of example, skillfully and carefully targeted BOTOX® and dermal filler injections have helped many. As always, though, not everyone is an optimal candidate for these procedures. One’s eligibility will be determined during the initial exams and consultations. Assuming, however, that Dr. Nima’s exam clears a patient for a non-surgical procedure and that a patient is comfortable with this alternative, the results they attain are not short lived. Improvements that last from six to twelve months are the norm.
Following your brow lift, maintaining great skin will highlight your results, and keep you looking refreshed and youthful. We highly encourage you to speak with our Aesthetician about the best products to keep your skin tight and moisturized. Also, we may recommend that you sustain your rejuvenated look with a program of periodic injectable treatments down the road.
What Is The Recovery From Brow Lift Like?
During your initial consultation, in addition to getting your medical history, including any risk factors, Dr. Nima will take the time to discuss your issues and concerns, and set reasonable expectations for any procedure. At this time, he will also examine your face with a keen, artful eye as well as take measurements. We will also take before photos for your records.
For your comfort, we perform a brow lift using IV sedation anesthesia. Dr. Nima commences the procedure by placing precise, small incisions in the scalp, just behind your hairline. He carefully inserts an endoscope (a thin tube with a camera) through the incisions, allowing him to see underneath the skin via video image. Dr. Nima then skillfully releases skin and soft tissue from the brow bone, gently lifting and securing them for long-lasting results.
A bandage may be applied to minimize post-surgical swelling and bruising. The less invasive form of lift combined with Dr. Nima’s surgical skills reduces your recovery time to about 1 week.
